Myanmar language (Burmese)
It uses the Burmese script, which has 33 consonants and 12 vowels. Interestingly, it doesn’t have spaces between words, though you can separate clauses to make it easier to read.
Myanmar is a diglossic language (it has two different forms). There’s the formal written form (for newspapers) and an informal spoken form (for conversation, TV, and comics). It also doesn’t have any adjectives. Instead, it uses verbs to express the same sentiment (“person + be beautiful”).
The standard dialect is spoken in the Irrawaddy River valley.
